Ghost Kitchens in the UK
I think its fair to say that following the disruption of the past few years there has been a tipping point in the restaurant QSR industry. The days of big brand restaurants has been usurped by small niche, high quality gourmet food delivery only outlets. Groups of Ghost kitchens have quickly arisen to dynamically serve these startup and established brands. There locality to urban areas, provide fast, low cost delivery services. Think of them as a retail superstore of independent food solution providers.
We have been involved in Ghost kitchens and container kitchens for over 15 years. Our first containerised mobile kitchen was developed and manufactured way back in 2007, i'm sure its still going strong.
